Kine-matic Stereo Viewer

California, United States, 1960s

This slim, dark green filmstrip viewer was patented in 1952 by Otto Nemeth and produced by Kine-matic Corp. Its unique feature is how the film is advanced: the top and bottom edges of the filmstrip very slightly protrude through openings near the front of the viewer allowing the user to move the film back and forth with their fingertips. This particular viewer is branded for Lake Arrowhead Development Company and contains photos promoting the Lake Arrowhead area.
