Jan ‘23: What’s New in What’s Old

This first month of 2023 has just flown by! We used this fresh start to dig deep into our archives for viewers that have been sitting patiently on the shelf for years, waiting for their day in the sun: the Hollywood ReaLife and the Beauteeze 3D erotica viewers and the Rin Tin Tin toy viewer. They share this month’s spotlight with some absolute rarities that are new to our collection: the Stéréo-Project, the Pantoskop and the Mickey Mouse 3D Viewer (no, not that 1990s viewer shaped like Mickey Mouse — ours is a rare 1940/50s filmstrip viewer!)

We’ve also added a new page to the site that categorizes some of our vintage viewers by specific use case: advertising, education, medical, erotica, toy, etc. Visit our Stereoscope Collection by Use Case to check it out. We’ll be adding more to that page soon.

Lastly, if you’re interested in toy 3D viewers, we didn’t list them below because they’re not new to the site but we’ve done major updates to our Pixie-Viewer, Stori-Viewer, and See-a-Show pages.
