May/Jun ‘24: What’s New in What’s Old

No, we didn’t go on an acquisition spree in the last 2 months! The first seven viewers below have all been in our collection for several years but have never had their photo shoots. We’re happy to finally give these wooden beauties their time in the spotlight, admirably representing early 20th-century stereo viewing. We still have four more wooden long-timers awaiting their photo shoots (two of them are rare transposing viewers!) but we couldn’t get to them this time — look for them next time.

We’re also excited to feature two rare, metal collapsible viewers you may not have seen: the Henkel & HSV. We’ve only recently become aware of them ourselves.
