Colorama Stereo Viewer

United States, 1950s

This battery-operated viewer is one of a set of viewers that look exactly alike except for the brand. The others are the Sterling, Shaffer, and Douglas viewers. These viewers come in two versions: one with focus control for both eyes simultaneously and one with individually focusing eye pieces. The viewer shown below was part of a family photo package where the child’s photos are on 3D slides and can be viewed with the viewer.
