Pan-Chro Scope Stereoscope

Indianapolis, IN, USA, 1910s

In the category of war propaganda is the cardboard Pan-Chro Scope from 1917, shown here with the first of two sets of 48 lithograph stereoviews from WWI that were all copyrighted by Underwood & Underwood and some ads from Boys Life and other magazines. The Pan-Chro Scope Corporation was listed as an advertisement company in Indianapolis from 1917-1924. This guy is a little rough around the edges with a couple of repairs but has definitely held up better than I could after 100 years. Stereo World did a feature on this in the July/August 2017 magazine.
